2.  Giuseppe Calamusa (Giuseppe¹) was born 16 Nov 1829 in Calatafimi, Sicily, and died 28 Apr 1891 in Calatafimi, Sicily. He married Giacoma Bruccoleri 04 Mar 1867 in Calatafimi, Sicily, daughter of Antonino Bruccoleri and Elizabetta Milazzo.  She was born 1846 in Calatafimi, Sicily, and died 28 May 1935 in Calatafimi, Sicily. 

Child of Giuseppe Calamusa and Giacoma Bruccoleri is:

Caterina Calamusa, born 26 Mar 1872 in Calatafimi, Sicily; died 26 Nov 1940 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.  She married Biaggio Gelardi 27 Nov 1891 in Calatafimi, Sicily; born 03 Feb 1865 in Calatafimi, Sicily; died 10 Sep 1955 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.

  Interesting Notes

When Giuseppe Calamusa was born in 1829, his father was 27 years old and his mother was 17 years old.  His mother has the same last name of Calamusa.  It was not uncommon for cousins to marry in that time period in Italy.  This has not been proven as of yet but it's a possibility.

According to the marriage record, Giuseppe Calamusa was 38 years old and widowed at the time he married Giacoma Bruccoleri who was 22 years old and also widowed. 

Giuseppe died at the age of 61 years old. His wife, Giacoma Bruccoleri, died at the age of 89 years old.
